The Tractor Operator will be responsible for operating skidder tractors used in forestry operations to transport logs from the cutting area to collection points. Key Responsibilities
- Operate skidder tractors to transport logs from the felling area to the upper depot
- Safely use forestry equipment including winches and grips
- Perform daily technical inspections and basic maintenance of machinery
- Ensure proper stacking and handling of timber
- Cooperate with lumberjacks and other forestry workers during operations
- Follow all safety regulations and operational guidelines in forestry work
Requirements
- Experience operating tractors or heavy machinery MTZ, T-40, TTP, or similar
- Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and safety procedures
- Ability to work in outdoor forest environments and physically demanding conditions
- Responsible, disciplined, and safety-conscious worker
- Ability to cooperate with forestry teams and follow instructions
